DeckWright® Anti-Slip At Dromore Town Park
This week we have visited Dromore Town Park to see two public bridges in Northern Ireland that feature DeckWright® anti-slip. The bridges are made from Ekki, supplied by William Kirkwood & Sons chosen for it's durability and longevity. Why Ekki? Ekki is a highly durable tropical hardwood, well known for its strength and resistance to decay. When combined with DeckWright’s proven anti-slip technology, it becomes an ideal choice for high-traffic public spaces, particularly those exposed to the elements. The anti-slip treatment ensures that visitors—whether they are strolling through the park, heading to the custom-built pump track, or exploring historic landmarks like the Pinnacle and Mill Weir—can do so with increased safety. DeckWright is proud to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of this vital public space. By providing long-lasting, slip-resistant decking for the two bridges, we are ensuring that visitors of all ages can continue to enjoy the park’s many attractions safely and comfortably.
