WJ Timber Treatments Ltd (WJTT) formed to incorporate the second high pressure treatment facility which was opened in Rochester Kent. At this stage Hull’s timber treatment site was still traded through WJC.

Hull treatment business relocates to a leasehold, purpose built treatment facility at Tower House Lane, following the development of Alexandra Dock by Siemens of a wind turbine factory.
WJC develops I-beam production line using DeckWright technology.
Kirkburn site near Driffield established: a specialist Fire Retardant treatment facility. WJ Fire Retardant Ltd formed to develop a Fire Retardant Treatment business using Burnblock a Danish manufacturer of FR chemical.
WJ installed a third drying kiln at Kirkburn facility further increasing processing speeds.
New third High Pressure vacuum tank goes into Hull, enabling an additional 20,000 m3 of capacity.
New 4th 50m3 kiln installed at Kirkburn and Low Pressure tank extended at Rochester.
Invested in 6th Low Pressure tank at Tower House Lane facility. Rented dedicated prototype unit for I-Beams development. Sought planning permission for expansion at Kirkburn site.
Invested in our largest 19m treatment tank to increase throughput of treated material. Launched brand new timber chassis for caravans and park homes to the public and manufacturers. Launched park home decking product to expand DeckWright® offering. Invested in two brand new kilns to increase drying capacity for FireWright® treated material.
