We Begin Installing Modular Caravan Decking At Dacre Lakeside Park

This week saw our WJ Components team begin the install of our revolutionary modular caravan timber decking. The frame of this sun deck is manufactured off site in our factory and then brought to site for installation. We carefully design each module to exact customer specifications with the design and shape of the caravan / lodge at the heart of our design. 

The modular design of the decking areas allows for customisation for each specific space. Installation times are greatly reduced with our modular decking for caravans because the framing is already assembled and ready to have the decking boards installed as soon as they arrive on site. Each of the legs on the modules are fully adjustable allowing ground slopes. 



This 65ft park home is getting a brand new Abodo Wood timber deck. With the frame made of UC4 treated spruce, the Abodo Wood will surround the framing giving a fantastic look to the decking. Abodo Wood is a thermally modified timber which is highly sustainable using Radiata Pine from New Zealand. 

This park home decking will consist of DeckWright anti-slip decking boards giving the end users usability of their deck, year-round. With access to their park home from the decking steps and decking area, it was imperative that the decking for this caravan allowed users to have safe access year-round.
